The Brown Print is a photography and film studio. This page explains what happens to the details you share with us through this website, in plain language.
What we collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into our enquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your event or project (dates, venue, city, and anything you add in the message field). We don't use analytics trackers or advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
For one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, check availability, and prepare a proposal for you. We don't sell, rent, or share your details with anyone else, and we won't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Where it goes
- Your enquiry is stored in a private spreadsheet managed by the studio (Google Sheets, via Google Apps Script).
- A confirmation email is sent to you, and a notification is sent to the studio, through Google's email service.
- Google processes this data as our service provider — see Google's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as they're relevant to your enquiry or booking. If you'd like your details corrected or removed at any time, email us and we'll do it.
Your rights
Under Canada's PIPEDA, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and have it deleted. Write to hello@thebrownprint.co and we'll respond promptly.
